Can I join Vibe Yoga even if I’m a complete beginner?

Yes absolutely! Classes are planned and developed with mixed abilities in mind and are scaled up or down based on the needs of the group. The basic Vinyasa asanas are easy to learn and repeated regularly, from there many opportunities are offered to take your practice deeper as you progress. Chelle guides you through new postures each week, using visual demonstrations and explanations to help you develop confidence, body awareness and alignment. Work with the body you have today, and you’ll soon find more strength, flexibility, energy and feel mobilised to Vibe!

Can I join Vibe Pilates even if I’ve never done Pilates before?

Yes, come give it a go! Basic matwork Pilates classes are suitable for beginner and intermediate level clients. The exercise sequence changes each week, repetition of some exercises helps you to become familiar with the basic movement patterns, from there we modify and add new exercises. Visual demonstrations and support through hands on adjustment helps you find your best alignment as you work through the class. You can also book in for a 1:1 session where Chelle can get to know your body so you can get the most out of the classes.

Are the spaces you teach from warm and well lit?

Vibe Yoga is practiced in a toasty warm yurt, heated with electric heaters. Fairy lights and candles make it really inviting.

Vibe Pilates practice is at The Sunshine Room, East Whins House; a cozy bright space.

Wild Vibe on the beach...is most likely cold, windy and wild throughout winter! If you are joining us for Wild Vibe Yoga please wear thermals and lots of thin layers and bring a waterproof. It’s unlikely the group will meet if it’s pouring with rain, but as it’s the north of Scotland ya never know what weather might come!

What do I need to bring with me?

If you have your own yoga mat please bring it, a few spares will be available. Blocks and straps/blankets are available as required. Additional mats are provided for extra padding in Pilates, as well as head cushions, please bring a small towel or scarf with you to cover the cushion.

Will you offer additional classes to your current schedule?

Yes! The Vibe Movement is continually expanding and there are plans to teach Yoga and Pilates from a new studio space in Forres Feb/March 2020, as well as introduce Well-being workshops in the New Year. Make sure we have your contact details so we can update you with new adventures!
